Katharina will in aller Abgeschiedenheit in einem Haus auf dem Land ihr Kind zur Welt bringen, doch im Haus nebenan ist ein mysteriöser Mann eingezogen. Misstrauisch wendet sie sich von ihm ab. Als sie jedoch nachts Wehen bekommt und ins Krankenhaus fahren muss, ist der unheimliche Nachbar der einzige, der ihr helfen kann.
Katharina, alone and pregnant, has chosen to give birth to her first child in the seclusion of an old countryside cottage. But a mysterious man moves in next doors. As she wakes up one night, having gone into labour, she needs help getting to the hospital. But the only person in her proximity is the uncanny, obscure neighbor.
