Guy Degen

Guy Degen is Australian journalist and trainer lives in Berlin. Every assignment is different. He is often on the road producing stories with video, audio and photography for international broadcasters and specialises in using mobile devices for reporting.

Along with producing stories, Guy also mentors and trains journalists around the world through international media development agencies such as BBC Media Action, IREX Europe and DW Akademie. Guy is also part of the team training the Deutsche Welle Volotäre and the Cross Media program of MIZ Babelsberg. Guy is a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator and uses this innovative methodology in journalism workshops and consultancies exploring digital editorial development.
